It's been almost a week since we launched and it's been a whirlwind!
Our website went live at 4pm on Sunday 7th June and only a few hours later we received our first order.
Yes, I did a little happy dance. Then opened a bottle of champagne to celebrate the important milestone.
So, what's our story?
As a lover of country fashion, I spend a lot of time hunting out preloved items to add to my wardrobe. I love buying preloved, not just to save a few pounds, but also because you can find more unusual pieces. I have never been a follower of the latest trends or that current season 'must have'. I like to wear, what I like to wear. If that is fashionable, great, if not, that's fine too.
However, I was finding that buying preloved was becoming more and more risky. All of the usual places to buy, for example, eBay, Facebook selling pages, Depop etc, do come with the obvious questions - what will the item actually be like? Will it have marks? Will it have pulls? What if there could be some sort of quality check before you take the risk?
... and that is how Baillie & Bella was born.
At Bailie & Bella, our pledge is simple. We only list excellent quality or new products.
We take the risk, so you don't have to. You can view the items on our website safe in the knowledge that we have quality checked everything.
The other thing we pride ourselves on is our presentation and branding. Just because you are buying preloved, it doesn't have to feel like you are at a Jumble Sale. All our items arrive with you carefully wrapped and boxed. Our branded swing-tags and overall branding aim to give a 'boutique' feel.
